About The Founder
Meet Ben Barton
Ben Barton has spent more than 35 years working in education, across publishing, education technology, teacher development and apprenticeships.
He founded Apprenticeships for Schools to help schools and trusts understand how apprenticeships can support recruitment, retention, professional development and longer-term workforce planning.
Ben works with schools, trusts, universities and training organisations. His focus is practical: understanding what an organisation wants to achieve and identifying where apprenticeships can genuinely help.
“Apprenticeships can transform the future of our country, open doors for young people and help schools build the skilled, professional workforce our children deserve.”
